>An younger lady walked through the gates of a nursing home. She wore a simple but beautiful black dress, but her frown contrasted her clothing choice greatly.
>She had prepared herself mentally, as she did every month. However, she never truly got used to it. Quite the contrary: it got harder every single time.
>By now she no longer had to ask what room to go to, as she had learned the exact place over the last half a decade.
>She gently knocked on the door, and got a weak "come in" as a response.
>"Hey, it's me..." She said as she walked in, carefully closing the door as to not make more noise than necessary. Inside was an extremely old man, one that clearly didn't have many more years to live.
>The room went silent for a short while. If one didn't know better, they'd probably assume the young lady was his child, or more probably even his grandchild.
>"Are you one of the nurses...?"
>"It's me, Anon... It's Kagura..."
>"Kagura...? What a lovely name..."
>"Y-yes, thanks, Anon..."
>An akward silence lingered in the air, until Kagura broke it.
>"Want to go for a walk, Anon?"
>"That sounds nice..."
>She hoisted him into a wheelchair, and soon she was walking him across the premises. It was cloudy, but not cold: his favourite weather, even if he probably didn't even remember that.
>"Anna is doing well, you know..."
>"...?"
>"She's your daughter, Anon..."
>For the first time during the visit, Anon started remembering a little.
>"Anna is doing well...? I hope she's still getting along with the babysitter..."
>"She still talks with Naraku a lot, yes..."
>Kagura didn't have it in her to tell him that his daugther was approaching the 40, letting him stay in the past for a bit longer.
>"When am I going home...?"
>The question paralysed Kagura, stopping the wheelchair in place.
>"Soon, Anon... You'll go home soon..."
>She began to cry silently as she pushed it forward again, keeping her sobs silent as to not bother the love of her life.
>Once back in his room, she gently put him in his bed, kissing him on the forehead afterwards. He actually had an old wound there from falling off the stairs once, which was quite possibly the most scary moment of Kagura's life.
>"I... I'll leave you be again, Anon..."
>"Thanks, miss nurse..."
>Kagura's floodgates opened again as she stormed out of the room.
>She hated it all. Waiting all month to see him, and only seeing it all get worse every time. Having not aged a day throughout it all made her feel all the worse.
>She finally made a decision: once she ran out of people close to her, she would return to the sphere. In a hundred years, she'd make new memories...
